Rear Seat-back Cover/Pad Replacement

NOTE:
- Put on gloves to protect your hands.
- Take care not to tear the seams or damage the seat covers.
- Use the appropriate tool from the KTC trim tool set to avoid damage when removing components.
- The left seat-back is shown; the right seat-back is similar.
- Remove the rear seat assembly (see REAR SEAT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
- Remove the seat-back (see REAR SEAT-BACK LATCH REPLACEMENT ).
- Remove these items:
- Latch cover (see step 1 on REAR SEAT-BACK LATCH REPLACEMENT )
- Striker hole cover (see step 2 on REAR SEAT-BACK LATCH REPLACEMENT )
- Release the hook strip (A), and unzip the seat-back cover. Pull back the cover (B), then release the hooks (C) from the seat-back frame (D).
- Release the hook strips (A) from the seat-back frame (B), then remove the frame cover (C).
- Pull out the seat-back pad (A) from the frame (B), then pull out the head restraint guides (C) while pinching the end of the guides, and remove them.
- Remove the seat-back cover/pad (A) and the silencer (B) from the seat-back frame (C).
- Install the seat-back cover/pad in the reverse order of removal. To prevent wrinkles when installing a seat-back cover, make sure the material is stretched evenly over the pad before securing the hooks and clips.
