4WD model

- Raise the vehicle on a lift.
- Remove the muffler (see 4WD MODEL ).
- Support the rear differential with a transmission jack, then remove the rear differential mounting bolts (A and B), and lower the rear differential (C).
- Disconnect the quick-connect fitting (A), the hoses (B), the FTP sensor 3P connector (C), and the EVAP canister vent shut valve 2P connector (D).
- Remove the bolts (E) and the EVAP canister (F).
- Remove the EVAP canister vent shut valve (A) and the FTP sensor (B) from the EVAP canister (C).
- Reassemble the EVAP canister with new O-rings (D) and a new retainer (E), and new cap (F).NOTE: Do not coat the O-rings with oil.
- Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
