Alternator Removal and Installation: Installation

Install the alternator connector (A) and BLK wire (B), and install the harness clamp (C) from the alternator.

Install the three bolts securing the alternator.

Install the auto-tensioner (see ALTERNATOR OVERHAUL ).
Install the drive belt (see DRIVE BELT INSPECTION ).
Install the upper brackets and cushions.

Install the bolt (A) securing the battery clamp, then install the bulkhead cover (B).

Connect the positive cable to the battery first, then connect the negative cable.
Enter the anti-theft codes for the radio, then enter the customer's audio presets.
Do the power window control unit reset procedure (see RESETTING THE POWER WINDOW CONTROL UNIT ).
Set the clock.
