Brush Holder Test

  1. Using an ohmmeter, check that there is no continuity between positive brush (A) and negative brush (B). If there is continuity, replace the brush holder assembly. See Fig 1.
  2. Measure the brush length. If it is not within the service limit, replace the brush holder assembly. See Fig 2. See STARTER SPECIFICATIONS .
