ORVR Fuel Tank Vapor Control System Function Test

Fill fuel tank with fuel and check for fuel in EVAP 2-way valve and ORVR fuel tank vapor recirculation hose. See Fig 1. Tiny droplets of fuel are normal for both locations. If fuel ran out at either location, replace ORVR fuel tank vapor control valve. If fuel does not run out at either location, ORVR fuel tank vapor control system is okay.
