TCS Indicator Light

TCS indicator light comes on when TCS system problem is detected. TCS system is disabled when TCS indicator light is on. If ABS and TCS indicator lights are both on, diagnose ABS system problem first.

Even if TCS system is okay, TCS indicator light can illuminate if TCS is operated when front brake pad temperature is excessive, TCS switch is off or one or more of the following components is faulty: heated oxygen sensor, manifold absolute pressure sensor, crankshaft position sensor, engine coolant temperature sensor, throttle position sensor, top dead center sensor, top dead center sensor 2, intake air temperature sensor, exhaust gas recirculation, barometric pressure sensor, idle air control valve, VTEC pressure switch, knock sensor, fuel supply system, automatic transaxle, and PGM-FI misfire detection system.
