Power Mirror Actuator Replacement

Remove the power mirror from the door (see POWER MIRROR REPLACEMENT ).
Record the terminal locations and wire colors.
Cut the wire harness with a wire cutter.

Carefully pull out the bottom edge of the mirror holder by hand.
Separate the mirror holder from the actuator by slowly pulling them apart.

Remove the screws and the actuator from the housing.

Route the wire harness of the new actuator through the hole of the mirror housing, then install the new actuator in the reverse order of removal.
Insert the terminals into the connector in the original arrangement as shown below.

Reassemble the mirror in the reverse order of disassembly.
Be careful not to break the mirror holder when reinstalling it to the actuator.
Operate the power mirror to check that the actuator works smoothly.
