Checking Fluid Level After Repair

CAUTION:
DO NOT hold steering wheel at full-lock position for more than 5 seconds. Pump damage will result.
Raise and support front of vehicle. Fill fluid reservoir. Wait 2-3 minutes and refill. Start engine (DO NOT turn steering wheel) and let idle for a few seconds. Turn engine off. Check fluid level. Refill as necessary. Bleed power steering system. See HYDRAULIC SYSTEM BLEEDING .
