Worm Thrust Bearing Preload: Notes

NOTE:
Worm thrust bearing preload is adjusted with steering gear removed from vehicle. See POWER STEERING GEAR under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
CAUTION:
Avoid clamping steering gear in vise at power cylinder portion of housing. Internal damage to cylinder may result.
