WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 19 other vehicles, including the 2001 Isuzu VehiCROSS, 2001 Isuzu Trooper, 2001 Isuzu Rodeo Sport, 2001 Isuzu Rodeo, and 2001 Honda Passport. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
NOTE:
For information on 1999 Oasis, refer to 1998 Odyssey in appropriate SUSPENSION - FRONT article in Honda.
NOTE:
This article also applies to Honda Passport. For Passport, refer to Rodeo, unless otherwise indicated.
All models use an independent front suspension, consisting of coil springs (Hombre 2WD), torsion bars (Amigo, Hombre 4WD, Rodeo, Trooper and VehiCROSS), upper and lower control arms, steering knuckle and stabilizer bar. Steering knuckle connects to control arms at ball joints. A stabilizer bar and strut bar may be used between frame and lower control arm. See Fig 1 and Fig 2 .
