Check Fast Idle Thermo Valve for proper operation. See SYSTEM & COMPONENT TESTING article.
Check idle speed adjustment. See ON-VEHICLE ADJUSTMENTS article.
Inspect/adjust throttle cable. See ON-VEHICLE ADJUSTMENTS article.
Inspect throttle body for sticking and binding.
Check for worn throttle body.
