Center Lower Console Removal/Installation

NOTE: SRS components are located in this area. Review the SRS component locations, (see AIR BAG RESTRAINTS SYSTEM article), and the precautions and procedures (see AIR BAG RESTRAINTS SYSTEM article ) before performing repairs or service.

NOTE: Take care not to scratch the dashboard and related parts.

Remove the center lower pocket (see Center Lower Pocket Removal/Installation ).
For some '02-04 models: Remove the DVD player unit (see DVD PLAYER UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
Remove the center lower console (A).
- 1 Remove the screws.
- 2 Gently pull out the console.
- 3 Disconnect the accessory socket connector (B), and remove the console.

Install the console in the reverse order of removal, and make sure the accessory socket connector is plugged in properly.
