SERVICE INFORMATION
Because of their high cost, these components in the Integrated Motor Assist (IMA) system for '00-01 Insights are warranted for 8 years or 80,000 miles, whichever comes first:
- Battery assembly
- Battery condition monitor module
- Battery electronic control unit
- DC-DC converter
- Motor electronic control unit
- Motor power inverter module
- Motor rotor
- Motor stator
- Predriver unit (motor driver module)
This warranty is in addition to the New Vehicle Limited Warranty and the Federal/California emissions warranties. The California warranty applies to vehicles registered and normally driven in California, Massachusetts, and Vermont.
