- If caster needs adjustment, raise front of vehicle and support it using safety stands. Remove radius rod nut and radius rod bolt from steering knuckle and frame.
- Remove radius rod and install appropriate length radius rod needed to adjust caster. If excessive gap between measured angle and specification exists, check for bent sub-frame or steering knuckle. Radius rod is available in 3 sizes and is identified by color and specific marking, located at center of radius rod.
- A .098" (2.5 mm) radius rod is identified by a plus mark (+) and is Blue. A standard radius rod is identified by a punch mark () and is Orange. A -098" (-2.5 mm) radius rod is identified by a minus mark (-) and is White. Use appropriate rod to adjust caster to specification.
