Hatch Key Cylinder Switch
Open rear hatch and remove trim panel. Disconnect hatch key cylinder switch 3-pin connector. See Fig 1 . Using DVOM, check for continuity between terminals No. 1 and 2 with hatch key cylinder switch in lock position. Continuity should exist. Check for continuity between terminals No. 1 and 3 with hatch key cylinder switch in unlock position. Continuity should exist. If continuity is as specified, hatch key cylinder switch in okay. If continuity is not as specified, replace hatch key cylinder switch.
