DTC 81: Abs Control Unit
- If ABS indicator light says on with ignition switch in ON position and DTC 81 is set, go to next step.
- Clear DTCs. See CLEARING TROUBLE CODES under DIAGNOSIS & TESTING. Test drive vehicle. If ABS indicator light illuminates, retrieve DTC. See RETRIEVING TROUBLE CODES under DIAGNOSIS & TESTING. If DTC 81 is set, replace ABS control unit. If ABS indicator light does not illuminate, system is okay at this time.
