Self-Diagnostic Function

Monitors ABS system. When a problem is detected, ABS indicator light turns on. Self-diagnosis can be classified into detection categories:

• Initial Diagnosis: Performed right after engine starts and until ABS indicator light goes off.
• Regulator Diagnosis: Performed right after initial diagnosis and until ignition switch is turned off.

When a problem is detected by self-diagnostic function, system will turn fail-safe relay off, solenoid valve off, pump motor off, and ABS indicator light on.
