Left Mirror Inoperative

  1. Remove power mirror switch. Disconnect switch from harness. See POWER MIRROR SWITCH  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Turn ignition on. Using jumper wires, connect power mirror harness switch connector terminal A9 (Yellow/Black wire) to A7 (Blue/Green wire), and A5 (Blue/White) or A4 Blue/Orange wire) to ground.
  2. If mirror does not tilt down (or swing left), check for open in Blue/White wire (or Blue/Orange wire) between mirror switch and mirror. If wiring is okay, check mirror motor. See POWER MIRROR ACTUATOR (PRELUDE)  under COMPONENT TESTS. If mirror neither tilts down or swings left, repair open in Blue/Green wire between power mirror switch and mirror actuator. If mirror operates correctly, check mirror switch. See POWER MIRROR SWITCH  under COMPONENT TESTS.
