Anti-Lock (Abs) Indicator Light
NOTE:
ABS system is okay if ABS indicator light comes on (bulb check) and goes out about 2 seconds after ignition switch is turned to ON position or engine is started.
- ABS indicator light will come on when an ABS system problem is detected. Even though ABS system is okay, ABS indicator light can come on if there is a signal disturbance, wheel spin, only drive wheels rotate or battery voltage fluctuates.
- When an ABS system problem is detected, ABS indicator light will come on. If system is in system down mode, ABS indicator light can come on and stay on until ignition is turned off. If system is in control inhibition mode, ABS indicator light can come on and go off automatically.
