Component Tests: Relays

  1. Remove radiator and condenser fan relays. On Accord and Prelude, condenser fan relay is located behind left side of front bumper, and radiator fan relay is located inside underhood relay box. On Civic and Civic Del Sol, radiator fan relay is located on right front inner fender, and condenser fan relay is located on left front inner fender (if equipped). On Odyssey, condenser fan relay is mounted on top of condenser, and radiator fan relay is located inside underhood relay box.
  2. On all models, connect positive battery power to relay terminal "C" and connect terminal "D" to ground. See Fig 1 . Continuity should be present between relay terminals "A" and "B". No continuity should be present when battery power is disconnected.
