Electrical Component Locator: Switches

Component	Component Location
ABS Pressure Switch	On lower right rear of engine compartment.
A/C Pressure Switch	On left front of engine, on A/C refrigerant line.
A/T Gear Position Switch	Below center console, right side of base of gear selector.
Back-Up Lamp Switch	On right side of engine compartment, below distributor.
Brake Fluid Level Switch	On left rear of engine compartment, in brake fluid reservoir.
Brake Switch	Behind left side of dash, on brake pedal support.
Clutch Interlock Switch	Behind left side of dash, on clutch pedal support.
Clutch Switch	Behind left side of dash, on clutch pedal support. See Figure .
Door Switches (Front) (2)	On base of respective "B" pillar.
Door Switches (Rear) (2) (Civic Sedan)	In respective rear quarterpanel.
Driver's Seat Belt Switch	In driver's seat belt buckle.
Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Switch	On right side of engine, on coolant outlet.
Engine Oil Pressure Switch	On rear of engine block, above oil filter.
Hatch Latch Switch	On bottom inside of hatch.
Hood Switch	On front of engine compartment.
Open/Close Switch	On underside of roof, near moonroof motor.
Parking Brake Switch	Below center console, at base of park brake lever.
Parking Pin Switch	Below center console, left side of base of gear selector.
Power Steering Pressure (PSP) Switch (1.6L DOHC)	On left rear of engine compartment. See Figure .
Power Steering Pressure (PSP) Switch (1.6L SOHC & DOHC VTEC)	On left rear of engine compartment. See Figure .
Power Steering Pressure (PSP) Switch (1.6L VTEC-E) (Civic)	On center rear of engine compartment. See Figure .
Tailgate Latch Switch (Left)	On bottom left inside of tailgate.
Tailgate Latch Switch (Right)	On bottom right inside of tailgate.
Tilt/Close Switch	On underside of roof, near moonroof motor.
Trunk Latch Switch	On center of end panel, in trunk.
VTEC Pressure Switch	On right rear corner of cylinder head.
