The A/C-heater control unit incorporates a self-diagnostic function which should be used as a starting point for all diagnosis. If a Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) is retrieved, see DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE IDENTIFICATION table.

NOTE: If no DTCs are retrieved, but a system problem is present, go to appropriate diagnostic procedure under TROUBLE SHOOTING .
