Turn ignition switch to ON position. Ensure brake pedal is not depressed. Record blinking ABS indicator light sequence. See Fig 4 and Fig 5 .
  2. When ignition is turned on, ABS indicator light will turn on for 2 seconds, then off for 3.6 seconds before blinking first DTC. See Fig 3 . This should not be counted as a DTC. Record blinking ABS indicator light sequence. See Fig 4 and Fig 5 . If a DTC is not set, ABS indicator light will turn off for 3.6 seconds then turn on and stay on.
  3. If light flashes DTC(s), conduct appropriate test procedures. If light does not flash DTC(s), go to ABS INDICATOR LIGHT REMAINS ON, BUT DOES NOT FLASH TROUBLE CODES. After DTC have been retrieved, turn ignition off. Remove fused jumper wire or SCS Service Connector (07PAZ-0010100).
