Fuel System Pressure Release

Remove negative battery terminal. Remove fuel tank filler cap. Locate 6-mm service bolt or 12-mm banjo bolt on fuel filter. If vehicle does not have a 6-mm service bolt on fuel filter use 12-mm banjo bolt. Place clean shop rag around service bolt or banjo bolt. Slowly loosen 6-mm service bolt one complete turn while holding banjo bolt. Slowly loosen banjo bolt one complete turn while holding filter.
