Idle Speed: Notes
NOTE:
Before adjusting idle speed, check the following: MIL is not on, ignition timing is correct, spark plugs are in good condition, air filter element is clean and the PCV system is functioning properly. On vehicles with daytime running lights, pull parking brake lever up, start engine and check that headlights are off.
