Retrieving DTCS

  1. Connect SCS Service Connector (07PAZ-0010100) to 2-pin service check connector. Connector is located under glove box, behind kick panel. See Fig 2. Ensure vehicle does not move. Turn ignition switch to ON position (without starting engine). Do not depress brake pedal. ABS indicator light will come on for a 2-second bulb check, then pause for 3.6 seconds before blinking first DTC. Record blinking ABS indicator light sequence. See Fig 1.
  2. ABS control unit can store any number of DTCs. To recheck sequence, turn ignition off and then turn it on again. After DTCs have been retrieved, clear DTCs. Perform appropriate test procedures outlined in flow charts. See ABS SELF-DIAGNOSTIC FLOW CHARTS .
