The Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) is designed to prevent wheel lock-up during hard braking, allowing driver to maintain vehicle control. System consists of ABS control unit, pump, solenoid control valves, wheel sensors, gear pulsers, ABS modulator unit, ABS indicator light, master cylinder, power booster assembly and connecting wiring. See Fig 1. ABS hydraulic circuit is a 4-channel brake system that individually controls front and rear wheels.
