Anti-Lock Brake System: Operation: Accumulator
The accumulator is a pneumatic, nitrogen-gas filled reservoir which accumulates high-pressure brake fluid. Accumulator feeds high-pressure brake fluid to modulator valve through inlet side of solenoid valve. Accumulator charging pressure is 1721 psi (121 kg/cm2 ). Maximum operating pressure is 3271 psi (230 kg/cm2 ).
