The front console is warped at the seam with the center console. See Fig 1 .

Modify and install new spring clips.

Remove the front console. See Fig 2 .
Use a bench grinder to remove each new spring clip. See Fig 3 .
Install the modified spring clips in the slots in the front of the center console. See Fig 4 .
Reinstall the front console.
