- Carefully pry sun roof switch/cruise control switch out of instrument panel. Unplug connectors from switches. Using an ohmmeter, check for continuity between Black wire and body ground. If no continuity exists, check for open in Black wire. Repair as necessary.
- Connect jumper wire between Yellow wire and body ground. Turn ignition on. If sun roof opens, check switch. If sun roof does not open, check for open in Yellow wire, faulty open or close relay or a poor ground. Repair or replace as necessary.
- Connect jumper wire between Yellow/Red wire and body ground. Turn ignition switch to ON position. If sun roof closes, check switch. If sun roof does not close, check for open in Yellow/Red or Green/Red wire. Check for faulty open or close relay or faulty tilt/close switch.
- Connect jumper wire between Blue wire and body ground. Turn ignition switch to ON position. If sun roof tilts upward at rear, check switch. If sun roof does not tilt, check for open in Blue wire or a faulty tilt/close switch.
- Connect jumper wire between Yellow/Red wire and ground. Turn ignition switch to ON position. Sun roof should tilt down. If sun roof does not tilt down, the open/close relay is faulty.
- Check continuity between Black wire and ground. If there is continuity, check switch. If there is no continuity, check for open in Black wire. Check for a poor ground.
