Preliminary Checks

  1. Before trouble shooting by symptom, check underdash fuse No. 15 (10-amp) and fuse No. 24 (15-amp). Replace fuses as necessary.
  2. Check underhood fuse No. 39 (50-amp), fuse No. 41 (80-amp) and fuse No. 42 (20-amp). Replace fuses as necessary. Ensure horn and tachometer operate properly. Ensure all connections are clean and tight. For circuit identification, see WIRING DIAGRAM  .
NOTE: Check possible faults in order listed. Repair or replace components and circuits as necessary.
