Clutch is disc type, using a diaphragm spring to engage pressure plate. Accord and Prelude use a hydraulically controlled clutch system consisting of a master cylinder and slave cylinder controlled by the clutch pedal. All Civic and CRXs have a mechanical release system consisting of clutch pedal, cable, release lever and release bearing.
