Electronic Air Control Valve (EACV)

  1. With ignition off, disconnect 2-pin EACV connector. Using an ohmmeter, measure resistance between EACV terminals. If resistance reading is 8-15 ohms, go to next step. If resistance is not as specified, replace EACV.
  2. Check for continuity between each EACV terminal and chassis ground. If continuity is present on any terminal, replace EACV.
