Anti-Lock Brake System: Operation: Modulator

The modulator consists of 3 modulator pistons and solenoid valves. One modulator piston is used for the rear wheels. Individual pistons are used for the front wheels. The modulator pistons for the rear brakes have a proportioning control valve to prevent rear wheel lock-up when ABS system malfunctions.
