Lock-Up Control Solenoid (Civic & CRX 1.5L A/T)

  1. Connect ECU test harness. See Figure . Using an ohmmeter, measure resistance between test harness terminals A8 and A18. Refer to Figure . Resistance should be 14-25 ohms.
  2. If resistance is not as specified, check continuity between Yellow wire to ECU terminal A8 and solenoid 2-wire connector. If continuity is not present, repair open in Yellow wire between ECU and sensor terminal connector. If continuity was present, replace faulty lock-up control solenoid.
