No Warning Light

  1. Turn ignition on. If oil pressure light is on, go to step 2). If light is off, inspect fuse No 13. If fuse is okay, repair open circuit in Yellow wire between fuse and combination meter.
  2. Turn ignition off. Connect system checker harness between ECU and connectors. Connect terminal A15 to ground. Turn ignition on. If warning light is now on, go to step 3). If light is off, replace warning light bulb or repair open in wire between ECU terminal A15 and combination meter.
  3. Connect terminal A15 to terminal A16. If warning light fails to illuminate, repair open in Black wire between ECU terminal B16 and ground.
  4. If warning light illuminated in step 3), substitute a known good ECU. If condition is rectified, replace original ECU.
