Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Control Solenoid

EGR is used on Prelude models. ECU controls ground circuit to EGR solenoid to regulate flow of recirculated exhaust gases into intake system. Prelude models also utilize an EGR valve lift sensor. This allows ECU to not only control EGR function, but to monitor it and set a trouble code (code 12) if a malfunction occurs.
