Control Operation: Defrost
To defrost or defog windshield and door windows, slide temperature lever to right, push 5th button from the left, and switch fan on. Warmed (outside) air will then flow from windshield and side defroster vents. On Civic, a lever controls vent/defrost door and hot air door through their various positions ("VENT", "HI-LOW", "HEAT" and "DEFROST"). See Fig 1 .
