Removal & Installation: Injector: Removal

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Relieve fuel pressure. Disconnect coupler at injector. Disconnect vacuum hose and fuel return line from pressure regulator.
  2. Place a rag or shop towel over hose and tube before disconnecting them. Loosen retainer nuts. Disconnect fuel rail. Remove injector from intake manifold.
