4WD Models (Gearshift Cable)
Remove center console. Place gear selector in 4th. Measure clearance between gearshift lever bracket and stopper while pushing the lever forward. See Fig 1. If clearance is not okay, loosen lock nuts and turn adjuster until clearance is correct.
NOTE:
After adjustment, check operation of gearshift lever. Threads of the cables must not extend out of cable adjuster more than 3/8".
