Ignition Timing
- Remove rubber inspection cap from window on cylinder block (Prelude). Attach timing light. Engine should be idling and at normal operating temperature.
- Timing is correct if specified mark on flywheel is aligned with index pointer on crankcase. To adjust, loosen distributor bolt and turn body counterclockwise to retard timing and clockwise to advance timing.
