Fuel Injection System - HONDA PGM-FI: Operation: Dashpot

A dashpot is used to slow the throttle closing of the throttle valve as it suddenly approaches the closed position during gear shifting or deceleration. When the throttle is in the closed position, the throttle valve contacts the throttle stop screw.
