Carburetor - KEIHIN 1-Bbl: Overhaul: Reassembly

  1. To reassemble, reverse disassembly procedure. Reinstall all jets into their proper positions. Replace all "O" rings and filter. Check float level and adjust as needed. See FLOAT LEVEL ADJUSTMENT section.
  2. Insert right carburetor's throttle shaft end (forked) between washers on left carburetor's throttle shaft end. Install new "O" rings on fuel vapor pipe, then install it. Set left and right carburetors up. Connect choke shaft spring.
    CAUTION: Ensure bracket mount screw lengths are correct or carburetors may be damaged.
  3. Install rear mount bracket but do not tighten screws yet. Install front bracket with new gaskets but do not tighten screws yet. Check that choke and throttle shafts move smoothly without binding. Tighten bracket mount screws in sequence shown. See Fig 1 .
