Carburetor - KEIHIN 1-Bbl: Description

Prelude models use a pair of 1-barrel, side draft carburetors. Carburetor components include electrically heated automatic choke, thermowax valve, power valve, fuel cut solenoid valves and idle boost control diaphragm.

The idle boost control diaphragm prevents the idle speed from dropping when the A/C compressor switch is turned on. Both choke valve setting and fast idle position are controlled during engine warm-up by automatic choke system.

The choke system consists of choke valve and its linkage system, choke heater electrical system, choke opener, fast idle and fast idle unloader system.
