Throttle Angle Sensor

NOTE: Following procedure should be performed after replacement of throttle angle sensor.
  1. Align pin of throttle valve shaft groove and temporarily tighten. Disconnect control unit connectors and connect System Checker Harness (07999-PD60000) between control unit and wire harness connector. Connect a digital voltmeter positive probe to terminal C7 of system checker harness and negative probe to terminal C12. See Figure .
  2. With ignition on, adjust sensor until it is centered between tangs of throttle stopper lever with lever contacting stop screw. Measure voltage between terminals. There should be 0.48-0.52 volts.
  3. If voltage is within specification, test deceleration fuel cut-off device. If deceleration fuel cut-off device does not work, repeat steps 1) and 2).
