Fuel Pump Operational Testing
- Attach jumper wire between 2 Black/Yellow wires in fuel pump cut-off relay connector. Disconnect fuel hose to carburetor and cap T-fitting. Install pressure gauge to fuel hose. Turn ignition switch ON and check for normal pressure 2-3 psi (.14-.21 kg/cm2 ).
- Remove pressure gauge and hold measuring beaker under fuel hose. Turn ignition switch ON and measure amount of fuel flow in 60 seconds. With 10 volts minimum battery voltage, flow should be as indicated in chart.
