Testing Procedure

Fully apply parking brake and check idling speed (with A/C off). Idle speed should be 600-800 RPM. Move shift selector lever from "P" to "R" position. Using stopwatch, measure time lag from moving shifting lever until shock is felt. In same manner, measure time lag of "R" to "D" shift. See TIME LAG TEST SPECIFICATIONS  table.
