Reassembly & Installation

  1. To reassemble, reverse disassembly procedure. Tighten throttle body screws to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . To complete installation, reverse removal procedure. Use a NEW base gasket without sealer.
  2. Tighten throttle body-to-manifold bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Refill cooling system. Adjust throttle position sensor. See THROTTLE POSITION (TP) SENSOR in the ADJUSTMENTS article. Reconnect negative battery cable. Cycle ignition ON/OFF to pressurize fuel system. Check for fuel leaks.
