Removal & Installation

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Disconnect PCV hose and Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor electrical connector. Remove air cleaner assembly. Disconnect TP sensor harness connector. Remove mounting screws and TP sensor.
  2. To install, mount TP sensor on throttle body with alignment slots slightly counterclockwise of body holes. Turn TP sensor clockwise to align holes and install mounting screws finger tight. To complete installation, reverse removal procedure. Adjust TP sensor. See THROTTLE POSITION (TP) SENSOR in the ADJUSTMENTS article. Tighten TP sensor mounting screws.
