Preliminary Checks

Check WIPER/WASHER (15-amp) fuse. Ensure ground connections are clean and tight. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  . If washer does not operate, check for adequately filled washer fluid reservoir, that hoses are not kinked or pinched, that nozzles are not clogged, and that hoses are correctly routed. Before component replacement, ensure connections at related component and in-line harness connector terminals are okay. Ensure wiper mechanical linkage is okay.
